Music Man at Playmakers Theater
This was one for the Music Man Directed by one of my favorite
people, Becky Gellette at Playmakers, the local community theater. She rejected
it because of budget and I was glad since I was working on something at the
Northstar and didn't really have the time to build it. I did have a paying job
that I needed to go to on occasion. Playmakers was first opened in 1955 and
has been a continuous staple in Covington for decades. I liked the setting and
it was only 3 minutes from my house in the woods off Lee Road. I was on the
Board of Directors but there were to many artistic differences after a time
so I left the Board after a couple of years. There is some new younger members
on the Board now that are egar and energetic. Here is a picture of the "Barn"
